A time to relax...

We usually stay close to home during spring break.  Our "big" vacation (you know, the one where we burn off all our hotel and airline points), is usually in the summer...when life has slowed down for all of us.  This year, since the kids schools both had the same spring break, Alan put in for vacation and the hunt for our "points" trip  was on!  The winner - St. Martin - the French side - at the European hotel chain "Raddison Blu".  Thank you United points and American Express...for making this trip within our reach.  How wonderful to have a bit of "summer" in March.  Time to relax, read, swim, sail, dive, and remind ourselves how thankful we are for all that we have.
Such a beautiful beach...

A wonderful place to sit and relax...

LOVE the flowers.....

Ridiculously beautiful pool on the beach

All the bacon you can eat....every day....

A day on the catamaran Scoobi Too....sailing to Anguilla

Did I mention we needed to be at the dock at 8am?  Someone needed a nap!

Our first stop was Sandy Island.  It was literally just sand, a few trees, and a hut.  Soo cool.

Snorkeling back to the boat from Sandy Island.  Just look at the color of the water.  It was stunning.

The front of our hotel at night.

The lobby of the hotel.  How cool is that chandelier!

Wish I could take credit for these underwater photos...but they had a guide with them who was their photographer.  Awesome underwater shots of Alan and Ryan wreck diving.

What is in the sand?

Did I mention how much we loved the color of the water?

Anguilla beaches....so beautiful...maybe the next trip will be here?

This is Christmas Card material!

A view of St. Martin

Loved this basket in our hotel room.

Thanks, Alan, for all your hard work ... and for the benefit we get from all that travel...Points!
Can't wait for the next adventure!
